The Cooper Bussmann Class J Low Peak Time Delay Fuse – LPJ-10SP is a fast-acting, current limiting fuse that is used as a circuit protection device in low voltage AC mains circuits. It is a cartridge fuse with style O. The fuse is made of glass and metal. The major application of the fuse is in lighting applications, in both residential and commercial buildings. The Cooper Bussmann Class J Low Peak Time Delay Fuse – LPJ-10SP is a fast blow type fuse designed for use in applications operating under primary and secondary voltage up to 1000VAC at 50/60Hz. It is for use in fused DC circuits, ac circuits, and power factor correction circuits. It offers high current capacity of 10.0A, low peak time delay of 0.01sec., and peak time delay of 0.1sec. The Cooper Bussmann Class J Low Peak Time Delay Fuse – LPJ-10SP is a 10-amp, 125V UL listed fuse with a 500 mA interrupting rating. It has a time delay of 0.01 sec (10 Amps) and 0.1 sec (2 Amps), with a peak inverse voltage (PIV) of 80 kV and 20 kV at 100% rated current for 2 or 10 amp fuse, respectively. The time delay class for this fuse is Class J, meaning it has a time delay that falls between the time delays of Class A and Class B fuses.
